This project focuses on a 20-storey residential development in Milton, Brisbane, featuring 181 apartments distributed across the upper floors, supported by 3 basement levels. Our role includes the preparation of a Site Serviceability and Stormwater Management Plan, ensuring the development meets all necessary service requirements and effectively manages stormwater to prevent flooding and environmental impact. The plan will incorporate innovative solutions to address the challenges of urban density while maintaining the site's long-term functionality and sustainability.
Key Engineering Details
Located within a flood zone next to the Brisbane River, careful consideration of building levels and critical building services were required. In conjunction with Hutchinson Builders and Euro Precast Concrete, the concrete core was designed to be constructed in modular box sections, requiring detailed assessment and analysis of the concrete core details, to ensure lateral stabiltiy in the temporary and permenant condition.
