The Gladstone East Shores parkland project represents the continuation of the successful Stage 1A development on Flinders Parade, Gladstone. This phase focuses on expanding the parkland's amenities and features to enhance community enjoyment. The scope includes the addition of new car parking facilities and a waterfront café, providing convenient access and dining options for visitors. It also involves investigating modifications to the existing ferry transfer pontoon to incorporate a pool, aiming to improve functionality and recreational appeal. The project will introduce large-scale shade structures for public use and develop extensive outdoor recreational spaces, further enriching the parkland and supporting a vibrant community environment.
