PROJECT SUMMARY

This project involves a 26-storey residential development in Milton, Brisbane, featuring 167 apartments spread across the upper levels and supported by 4 basement levels. The development is designed to maximize living space and amenities while integrating efficiently with the existing infrastructure. Key considerations include structural integrity, effective use of space, and comprehensive planning for the basement levels to accommodate parking and service facilities. This high-rise project aims to enhance the residential landscape in Milton with modern, high-quality living accommodations.

Key Engineering Details

Located within a flood zone next to the Brisbane River, careful consideration of building levels and critical building services were required. Diversion of existing sewer and stormwater infrastructure, in conjunction with assessment of the existing adjoining basements allowed the basement to maximise carparking yield, and minimum deep planting requirements to be achieved. The provsion of a transfer structure was limited to one floor, with careful position of vertical structure allowing basement columns to transition position over a number of the podium carparking floors.
